Description Renault Captur

Renault Captur is a subcompact crossover built on the same platform as the 4th generation Renault Clio hatchback and Nissan Juke. The world premiere of the serial car took place in March 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, but sales on the Ukrainian market began only two years later. Not to be confused with Renault Captur, which is produced in Russia and, from a technical point of view, has more in common with Renault Duster.

In terms of overall dimensions (length 4122 mm), Renault Captur falls into the same category with such cars as Nissan Juke, Opel Mokka And Peugeot 2008. At the same time, it is slightly ahead of competitors in terms of trunk volume - from 377 to 455 liters, depending on the position of the second row seats (shift back and forth) and the presence or absence of a raised floor. Another positive feature of the five-door is the almost square opening of the luggage compartment, which simplifies the loading / unloading of boxes and large suitcases.

Renault Captur engines in Ukraine:

petrol 1.2 TСe 115 (115 hp, 190 Nm);
diesel 1.5 dCi 90 (90 hp, 220 Nm).

Both motors are mated to a 6-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission. Regardless of the powertrain, Captur is offered only with front-wheel drive. The petrol Capture accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds, while the diesel takes 13.5 seconds. The 1.2-liter engine consumes 7.2 liters of gasoline per 100 km in the urban cycle and 5.4 liters on the highway. The 1.5-liter unit is content with 4.6 liters and 3.6 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km in urban and suburban modes, respectively.

Renault Captur offers a wide range of personalization options. In addition to several designs of rims, the choice of the buyer is provided with “packages” of external and internal design with various colors, decorative bumper covers, mirrors and a trunk sill.

Serial production of Renault Captur is established in Spain.
