Renault Fluence - the first generation of the model, the production of which began in 2009. In March 2013, a restyled version appeared on the Ukrainian market Renault Fluence introduced at the end of 2012.
Fluence owes its appearance on the market to another French model - Renault Megane, the third generation of which they decided to produce only in the hatchback body. Nevertheless, mindful of the love in the former CIS countries (and not only) for sedans, the company nevertheless brought to the market a new four-door C-class model. Although the third generation Megane served as a platform for the car, the semi-independent rear suspension was borrowed from the Nissan Sentra sedan intended for the American market.
Wheelbase Renault Fluence is not inferior to some models in the class above. For example, the distance between the front and rear axles of a D-class sedan Toyota Avensis is 2,700 mm, which is two millimeters less than the Fluence, which is one of the leaders in the cabin space in the C-class.
Three engines are provided for the car - two gasoline “aspirated” with a volume of 1.6 (110 hp and 145 Nm) and 2 liters (143 hp and 195 Nm), as well as a 1.5-liter turbodiesel (105 l .s and 240 Nm).
The 1.6-liter engine is aggregated with a five-speed “mechanics” or a four-band automatic. The 2-liter engine can be paired with a six-speed manual or a continuously variable variator. For diesel, only "mechanics" in six gears are available.
As options for Renault Fluence, a leather interior, an advanced audio system with 6 speakers, a sports body kit, and an electronic motion stabilization system (ESP) are offered.
Renault Fluence ground clearance is 160 mm. Serial production of the model is established at the company's factory in Turkey.
