Renault Logan MCV- the premiere of the station wagon took place two years after the launch of the production of "Logan" in the sedan. The venue for the public premiere was the Geneva Motor Show 2006. And at the end of 2008, the company announced the appearance of a restyled version, which entered the Ukrainian market. In Europe, the model was sold under the Dacia brand.

Compared to four-door Logan its five-door modification MCV noticeably added in size - the overall length increased by 183 mm. The wheelbase, in turn, increased by 271 mm. Therefore, buyers have the opportunity to choose not only a five-seater modification, but also a seven-seater. In the latter case, a third additional row of seats is installed in the passenger compartment, where not only children, but also two adults can easily accommodate. True, in the seven-seat performance, the trunk volume (200 liters) suffers. Nevertheless, if necessary, the two rear seats are removed and then the volume of the luggage compartment is in no way inferior to the five-seat modification and is 700 liters. If you fold the second row, then the trunk of the station wagon can even be increased to 2,350 liters.

As a power plant for the model, "aspirated" were offered - a 1.6-liter eight-valve gasoline engine (90 hp and 128 Nm) and a 1.5-liter diesel engine (67 hp and 160 Nm). The model with installed LPG equipment has a 1.6-liter gasoline engine specially prepared to run on propane-butane. Regardless of the engine chosen, the only possible transmission for the Renault Logan MCV is a five-speed manual.

A station wagon was produced in Romania.
