Renault Logan- the first generation of the model, the production of which began in 2004. In 2008, a restyled version of the car debuted on the market. In Ukraine and in some other markets, Logan is sold under the Renault brand, in Europe it is known as a model range car of the Romanian brand Dacia, which is controlled by a French company.

Initially, the cost of the car was not to exceed 5,000 euros, so components and assemblies from previous generations of Renault Clio, Megane and Modus were used to create the car. Despite all the efforts of engineers, it was not possible to achieve the task set by marketers, and the final cost of the car turned out to be higher than planned. Nevertheless, the emergence of models such as the Renault Sandero and Duster allowed the company to unify most of the parts between the machines and achieve reasonable prices for the budget Logan even after its update in 2008.

In Ukraine, buyers have the opportunity to choose not only a gasoline or diesel modification of the model, but also a gas one that runs on propane-butane. The range of Renault Logan gasoline power plants includes two engines of 1.4 (75 hp) and 1.6 liters (84 hp) at once.

Alternatively, you can choose a 70-horsepower 1.5-liter diesel or a factory-installed LPG version that uses a 72-horsepower 1.4-liter engine that runs on both gasoline and propane-butane.

The only possible transmission for all engines is a five-speed "mechanics".
