Renault Megane - the third generation of the model, along with the three-door coupe Megane, was presented in 2008 at the international auto show in Paris. In 2012, the car was slightly updated. The most noticeable change was the LED elements in the lower section of the headlights. A full-fledged facelift is expected in 2013 - the front part will be done in the style of the new Clio and captur.

In the current generation, the company decided to abandon the release of Megane in a sedan, which was replaced in 2009 by Renault Fluence. But the model has a more elegant three-door modification compared to its predecessor, which Renault even called Megane Coupe.

The combination of available Renault Megane power units in the Ukrainian market is as follows. Petrol 1.6-liter engine with 110 hp. can be paired with a five-speed “mechanics” or a four-band automatic. For a two-liter gasoline 143-horsepower engine, a six-speed manual or stepless variator is offered as a transmission. For an economical 1.5-liter turbodiesel (105 hp), which consumes just over 5 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers in the urban cycle, only a “mechanics” for six gears is available.

The advantages of the car are solid finishing materials and one of the most comfortable suspensions in its class. Ground clearance Renault Megane is 160 mm. A model is produced at the factory in the Turkish city of Bursa.
