Renault Sandero Stepway - front-wheel drive B-class hatchback in a crossover version with increased ground clearance to 173 mm (with 5 passengers on board). Second generation model debuted in autumn 2012 at the Paris Motor Show under the Dacia brand. Four years later, the premiere took place in the capital of France restyled car with a modified front end and new options. And already in January 2017, the updated Sandero Stepway came out to the Ukrainian market with nameplates Renault.

The modern Renault Sandero Stepway can be recognized, first of all, by the new head optics with C-shaped strips of daytime running lights. And if the design of the pre-reform hatchback is unified with the usual Sandero, then the updated five-door has its own false radiator grille with separated horizontal sections. In addition to this, the structure of the rear lights has changed, although not as dramatically as the front.

The main new things in the cabin are a three-spoke steering wheel with a horn button in the center and an impulse power window on the driver's side. And a rear view camera appeared in the list of additional options.

The following engines are offered at the choice of the Ukrainian buyer:

• petrol three-cylinder turbo engine 0.9 Energy TCe 90 (90 hp, 140 Nm);
• four-cylinder turbodiesel 1.5 dCi 90 (90 hp, 220 Nm).

The gasoline engine is combined with a 5-speed "mechanics" and an Easy'R robotic box of the same range. The "heavy fuel" unit is combined only with a manual transmission.

The basic equipment of the Renault Sandero Stepway is equipped with an ABS and ESP system, an anti-recoil system (HSA), frontal airbags for the driver and passenger, an audio system with radio, CD / MP3, Bluetooth, USB, as well as steering column controls. By default, air conditioning, power steering, front power windows, fog lights and a “crossover” body kit are installed - unpainted plastic lining on the wheel arches, lower body and bumpers. For a surcharge, you can install rear parking sensors with a rear-view camera, heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, heated front seats, side airbags and other equipment. In the older configuration, climate control, cruise control and an on-board computer are provided by default.
