Ground clearance has been increased with longer dampers and springs. Other power units completely repeat similar units of the conventional Sandero, built on the same platform with Renault Logan first generation.

In the near future, the current generation Sandero Stepway will be replaced by a new generation of the car, which submitted under the Dacia brand in September 2012 at the Paris Motor Show.

The only possible power plant for the car is a 1.6-liter gasoline "aspirated". The eight-valve version of the engine, producing 84 hp, is offered exclusively in tandem with a five-speed “mechanics”. Sixteen-valve modification of the 103 hp engine. only available with a quad automatic.

In Ukraine, Renault Sandero Stepway is offered in one configuration, including, among other things, ABS, two airbags, air conditioning, front power windows, 15-inch alloy wheels. The standard equipment can be supplemented with a CD / MP3 radio with the ability to connect external devices via Bluetooth, AUX, USB, as well as rear electric windows, central locking with remote control, side mirrors with electric drive and heating.
