Renault Sandero Stepway 2013 - a crossover modification of a front-wheel drive hatchback with a ground clearance increased to 197 mm. Represents the second generation of the model, which debuted under the Dacia nameplate in autumn 2012. at the Paris Motor Show.

The car was built on a slightly modernized "Logan" B0 platform. The update affected the engine compartment, which was reconfigured for new power plants intended for Europeans. In particular, we are talking about a 0.9-liter gasoline engine and a 90-horsepower diesel engine.

The choice of the buyer is offered other engines:

• gasoline eight-valve “aspirated” with a volume of 1.6 liters (80 hp, 128 Nm);

• 1.5-liter turbodiesel (84 hp, 200 Nm).

Both motors are aggregated by manual gearboxes in five gears. 

To improve control over the car when driving in a straight line, the Sandero reconfigured the power steering, which received a reduced near-zero zone of reactive force. More precisely, the brakes were also made, thanks to which the path to a complete stop from a speed of 100 km / h was reduced by one and a half meters.

If technically the modernization of the model on the market turned out to be almost imperceptible, then external and internal changes have significantly transformed the Renault Sandero Stepway.

The hatchback received a new body with a front end style unified with other Renault models. At the same time, the body structure itself has changed slightly: to improve acoustic comfort, another shield was installed between the passenger and engine compartments, and the roof crossbars were also reinforced.

The interior design has completely changed. "Stepway" is now decorated with a new front panel and center console. In general, the interior has become more pleasing to the eye, and the driver's ergonomics are more comfortable.

Serial production of the model has been established in Romania.
