Renault Scenic 2013 - front-wheel drive five-seater C-class compact van. Since June 2013, a restyled version of the model has been offered in Ukraine. Quite expectedly, the facelift gave Scenic the style of a new Renault Clio, in which the brand's large emblem now plays a central role. In a new manner, the designers beat the foglight sections in the front bumper.
Once again, the interior of the Renault Scenic was also revised. The ergonomics of the front panel remained the same, but the finishing materials have improved. The main innovation was the R-Link multimedia, which is available for a fee and allows you to synchronize mobile phones via Bluetooth, as well as connect various portable devices, including players, via external AUX / USB connectors. In addition, on the 7-inch touch screen, you can view not only photos, but also videos. Multimedia supports 9 languages, including Russian.
The range of engines for the Ukrainian market is represented by three engines. An interesting fact is that due to new duties the representative office of the brand decided to choose a diesel unit as the power plant for the initial version, the benefits of which in terms of fuel economy are obvious:
turbodiesel 1.5 dCi (110 hp, 240 Nm);
gasoline "aspirated" 1.6 TCe (110 hp, 151 Nm);
2-liter gasoline engine (143 hp, 190 Nm).
The basic box for 110-horsepower engines is a six-speed "mechanics". However, you can also choose a six-band “robot” with dual clutch in a pair with a diesel engine. The most powerful version with a 143-horsepower engine is offered only in conjunction with a CVT.
The initial equipment of the Renault Scenic now includes front, side and curtain airbags (six in total), as well as directional stability and hill start assistance systems. It is noteworthy that LED daytime running lights, which transform the look of any car, have become standard for all options.
For each configuration "Scenic" offers its own set of options. For medium and top-end versions, a system for controlling rows and recognizing traffic signs is available for an extra charge. The active assistant insures the driver, based on the data of the video camera, which is installed in the area of the central rear-view mirror. Considering that the model belongs to the “minivan” family, inside the Scenic will please you with a lot of convenient niches and pockets for small things. The car is produced at the company's plant in Douai (France). Since 1996, Renault has managed to produce more than 4.3 million "Scenic".
