Renault Megane - front-wheel drive sedan, which corresponds to the fourth generation of the model. Introduced in July 2016 as successor Renault Fluence, entered the Ukrainian market in April 2017. Like the hatchback of the same name, as well as the station wagon, it is built on the modular platform of the Renault-Nissan CMF C / D alliance. It is offered to customers in Life, Zen and Intense trim levels, which differ in a set of equipment, seat upholstery materials, as well as combinations of powertrain and transmission.
The Megan sedan is 10 mm longer than the Renault Fluence, and also 9 mm ahead of it in terms of wheelbase. The trunk holds 503 liters of luggage with the backs of the second row raised. With the backrests folded (folded in a ratio of 1/3–2/3), the volume of the cargo compartment increases to 987 liters, and the loading length reaches 1.9 m.
At the time of the Ukrainian start of sales, Renault Megane Sedan was available with a choice of two petrol and one diesel engines of Euro-5 environmental class:
SCe 115 – 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with multipoint sequential fuel injection. Power is 115 hp. (at 5500 rpm), maximum torque - 156 Nm (at 4000 rpm). Works in tandem with a 5-speed manual gearbox, or in combination with a CVT. In the first case, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 10.6 seconds, and fuel consumption in mixed mode is 6.5 l / 100 km of run. Modification with a CVT accelerates from standstill to “hundreds” in 11.9 seconds, and the average fuel consumption is 6.6 l / 100 km.
Energy Tce 130 -1.2 liter four-cylinder direct injection petrol turbo engine. Power - 130 hp (at 5700 rpm), maximum torque - 205 Nm (at 2000 rpm). It works in tandem with a 7-speed EDC robotic gearbox. The Megane sedan with this combination of powertrain and transmission accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 10.8 seconds, and the average fuel consumption according to the “passport” is 5.8 l / 100 km.
Energy dCi 110 – 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel turbo engine with common rail injection system. Power reaches 110 hp. (at 4000 rpm), maximum torque - 260 or 250 Nm (at 1750 rpm). Depending on the configuration, it is offered in tandem with a mechanical six-speed or with a 6-speed EDC “robot”. At the same time, regardless of the type of six-speed Megane Sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 11.2 seconds and consumes an average of 4.4 liters of diesel fuel per 100 kilometers.
The standard equipment of the four-door Renault Megane includes front and front side airbags for the driver and passenger, ABS (anti-lock) + EBV (brake force distribution) + AFU (emergency braking assistance system). Also, by default, ESP + ASR + HAS systems (road stability + traction control + hill start assist), LED daytime running lights, tire pressure monitoring system, air conditioning, front and rear impulse electric windows are installed. In addition, the base sedan has an audio system with USB and AUX, steering column control, Bluetooth and 4 speakers.
"Megan" sedan in top-end equipment boasts front and rear curtain airbags, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, an automatic parking brake, an R-Link2 multimedia system with an 8.7-inch touch screen and navigation, as well as a Renault Multi-Sense system (selection of driving modes, interior lighting). In addition, the list of available equipment includes a contactless trunk opening system, a hands-free key card, heated and electric exterior mirrors, a contactless trunk opening, designer daytime running lights with LED elements and other options.
