Renault ZOE — five-door hatchback B-class. The serial version was presented in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. By data Renault Zoe became the most popular electric car in Europe in 2015 with 18.4 thousand registered cars (19.2% market share).
The initial version of Renault ZOE is equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 22 kWh, as well as a 92 hp engine. and a torque of 225 Nm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 13.2 seconds and top speed is limited to 135 km/h. The range in the European NEDC test cycle with tires 185/65 R15 or 195/55 R16 is 240 km, but the real “range” of such a five-door is 170 km in summer and 115 km in winter. The time to fully charge the batteries from a household outlet (10 A) is about 14 hours. From a source with a power of 22 kW (3 phases 32A), an electric car is charged for 1 hour 45 minutes.
Autumn 2016 Renault introduced updated ZOE with a 41 kWh battery. Dynamic characteristics remained the same, but the NEDC cruising range increased to 403 km. In real conditions, on a fully charged battery, you can drive about 300 km in summer and 200 km in winter. From a conventional outlet, you can charge in 25 hours, and from a 22 kW source - in 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Salon Renault ZOE meets with a slightly futuristic design and two displays: in place of the traditional dashboard and above the air ducts in the center console. The basic equipment of the hatchback includes ABS, EBD (brake force distribution), EBA (emergency braking assistance) ESP and ASR (traction control). Front and side airbags for the driver and passenger, climate control, cruise control, power windows for all doors, heated front seats, side mirrors with electric adjustment and heating are installed. Also on board is the R-Link multimedia system with TomTom navigation and steering column controls. The trunk volume of Renault Zoe is 338 liters under the shelf and 1225 liters with the second row backrest folded down.
